I haven't found a thing, they've probably done that on purpose. What a horror of an ad!

Hi Lori,
Wow.. what an awful ad, indeed!!!
It's really horrible to see that companies advertise this way. And the sad thing is, that this kind of advertising 'works' and people with eating disorders will be tempted to buy these products. I know it would have worked for me... when I struggled with eating disorders, I WASTED so much money on all different kinds of 'weight loss' products and I believed everything the ads promised because I wanted it to be true.
It would be great to start a campaign against that kind of marketing.. but in order for this to be successful, we have to unite our voices.
Keep up the great work you are doing with your website. I check back every day and love reading your articles!!!!
I'll stay in touch and hope to be able to get together again soon and to catch up. I'll let you know when I'm in town again!
Have a great weekend,
Andrea

Thanks for posting, Andrea! Yes, this ad really took my off my guard. Could a company seriously be targeting people with eating disorders to make money? And in such an obvious way? It's insane...
Yes, do let me know when you're back in town. It's been awhile since we've sat down to chat!

Hi,
I found these sites for p&g and Metamucil http://www.pg.com/getintouch/index.jhtml , http://www.metamucil.com/ (contact us page) while I was researching laxatives for a friend. They didn't have email addresses only set forms to contact them by. I hope they can be of some help.

Thanks so much! If I can't find a physical "head office" address to send a letter to, I will just fire one off through the on-line form. It just seems so much easier for them to ignore a form email than a professional letter. But we do what we can do!
