My creation of the phrase Health Beauty is about defining beauty as more than just physical attraction and a pretty face.

I’ve coined a new phrase: Health Beauty. Beauty is not skin deep, it runs much farther beneath the surface. Physical attraction is more than just a pretty face. So how do you define beauty?

Below are some quotes from people who define beauty as more than a pretty face and describe what I call Health Beauty, physical attraction that comes from personal wellness.

“Beauty involves awe. We see a picture, by, say, Matisse; it is beyond words; it simply fills us with wonder. A piece of music by Moxart makes us feel ‘of course, of course, that is the secret of life…’”

- Muriel Spark

“The sky. Every hour of the day it’s different. It’s fluid, graceful, elegant. Any time you look at it, it’s restorative. And it doesn’t demand anything from you. When I look up I think, wow, sky, I should so that more often.”

- A.M. Homes

“Beautiful is… the curve of a smile on a mother’s face as she watches her little girl dance; the ecstatic smile of the woman in the arrivals hall when her man comes through the door; and the shared, amused smile on the faces of an old couple who do not need to talk.”

- Nuala O’Faolain

“Beauty happens. It’s a startling event one collides with suddenly, it is like truth. In the face of another, in the felicity of a phrase, in the dancer’s line, it occurs. And familiarity is never its enemy. It is not novel but profound. The same face, the same phrase can occur and occur and occur. The same beauty can stir in you forever.”

- Richard Ford

“Whatever you love is beautiful; love comes first, beauty follows. The greater your capacity for love, the more beauty you find in the world.

- Jane Smiley

And that's what I call Health Beauty. It runs much deeper than just physical attraction and a pretty face. It means much more.

i think beauty is., say like do you think that beauty is mountains and the sun or do you beleive that beauty is having the most beautifull body or...this may be the truth is here beauty is a cultural belief like saying she/he has the most body peircings in the world,or she/he has the most tattoos in the world or look at the neckrings i think beauty can realy be in everything ...there is no answer to beauty.
